Nike Dunk High SB - Heaven's Gate

Here we have a pair of Nike Dunk High SB that will be part of the Fall 2008 releases. They are designed by Todd Jordan and are dubbed as "Heaven's Gate". As you can see they consist of purple suade, premium leather and purple denim like material. To keep it crispy, Todd added a white swoosh. The inspiration for the shoes came from the story and colors of the religious group called Heaven's Gate. The group was led by Marshall Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles. Applewhite convinced thirty-eight people to commit suicide so that their souls can take a ride in a spaceship they believed was hidding behind a comet carryin Jesus.

Nike Blazer SB - Craig Stecyk

Just released from the Nike family are these Nike Blazer Mid SB. They have been dubbed the Craig Stecyk edition. They feature an orange suade and nubuck upper with a slight off white midsole and lace. They also feature embroided detail and crazy artwork on the inner sole. They are hitting SB accounts as we speak.

Here we have the re-birth of a classic. The Nike Air Foamposite made their first splash on the seen in 1997. The Foamposite today are dubbed as one of the most sort out sneaker. So to please its customer base, Nike decided to retro them once again. This time they put it in a eggplant colorway. As you can see the shoe is very similar to the royal blue pair being that it consist of a clear bottom which adds a highly acceptedable look. These babies are expected to drop early next year. Here we present you now the "Obama For President" capsule collection by Taz Arnold. On this collection, he collaborated with Phenomenon and MCM. The collabo is a two piece collection in honor of this years historical presidential election. Kanye West, what more do I have to say. The man went from nothing to something. A college dropout turned into a true role model. The man behind the music and soon to be the man behind fashion. Well he already marked is spot with his style. From his passion for B.APE and Jordans(black cement 3s to be exact) to his own line titled Pastelle. Not many cats I can say I look up to, but he really is one of them. Somebody I can relate to, somebody who has survived the same struggles I go through. Today's artist spotlight is dedicated to the young and heavily talented Kris Kasanova.

Who Is Kris Kasanova? K.nowledgeable, R.espected, I.nnovative, and S.incere are words that best describe the Brooklyn born, Red Hook native. Born in the declining years of the Reagan Era, Kris was influenced by the struggle he witnessed in the streets, at home, and told by artists ranging from Rakim to Jay-Z. Kris began his musical journey at the tender age of 7 when his father, who was an aspiring rapper reemerged into his life. Over the years, as his father began to lose his burning passion for music, Kris quickly found his. Since then, Kris has obtained the knowledge of and love for the art of music. His passion and unique style has transformed him from Kristopher M. Thomas into Kris Kasanova.

Throughout his school years, Kris continuously practiced sharpening his skills in order to become a true creative and innovative MC. His refreshing sound and unorthodox delivery opened the ears of fellow Brooklynites, producers Clyde and Harry. The Duo Quickly opened their arms and the evolution of Kris Kasanova began.

If Kris could be any painter he would be Picasso because "...of the different way that I see life. Growing up in the hood, in a dead end, still able to find something positive in my eyes, and forming a unique way of portraying it to others...". If lyrics paint a picture, Kris has produced masterpieces with his sincere rhymes, distinct swagger, unique vision where he illustrates the struggles of every day life.
